Sales Engineer

Job Summary

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base within the transportation industry. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities, while providing technical expertise and support to customers throughout the sales process.

Your Responsibilties

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation

    Identify and generate new sales leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events

  • Sales Cycle Management

    Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure

  • Product Demonstrations

    Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our technology solutions to potential clients

  • Technical Expertise

    Provide technical support and advice to customers, addressing their questions and concerns

  • Customer Relationship Management

    Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing exceptional service

  • Market Analysis

    Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay updated on industry trends

  • Negotiation

    Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with customers to achieve mutually beneficial agreements

  • Sales Reporting

    Prepare and submit accurate sales reports and forecasts to management

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, preferably in the aviation or technology industry
  • Strong understanding of airport operations and technology solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in selling technology solutions to the aviation industry
  • Technical knowledge of transportation management systems and technologies
  • Fluency in English and Arabic
